At the conclusion of the Fourth Great War, much of North America, Europe, Africa and China are devastated; the Middle East & Australia have been destroyed, the population fell to only a few million people spread amongst six remaining City States: Argentia, Han Yen Shen, Maurya, Reykjavik, Siraf, and Turigus.
Each City State is unique and isolated from the others – separated by a harsh and barren landscape where bandits roam and fugitives hide in the few lonely villages and hamlets that remain.
MAURYA (formerly Mumbai): A rigid caste based monarchy, brutally maintained by the Kanva family who have seized the throne. Immigrants of Chinese decent have become repressed and live largely ungoverned in the wilderness.
REYKJAVIK: With a strong system of democratic governance and commerce, Reykjavik is a prospering city. It has harvested geo-thermal energy of the volcanic island and has expanded colonization efforts to Scandinavia.

SIRAF: The Middle Eastern kingdom of Siraf was once a centre for knowledge, learning and magnificence, however, the deteriorating mental state of King Arlone has left the landscape littered with monuments of decay and crumbling towers.

TURIGUS (formely Zurich): Once home to the world’s elite, Turigus boomed with an influx of investment in construction and infrastructure. In recent times, however, the city has degenerated into a lawless metropolis dominated by gangs and powerful families.

ARGENTIA: A conservatively religious state and the sole remaining metropolis in the Americas. The society is led by Pastor Noah, an evangelist that has cleverly maintained leadership of a populous that remains productive, austere and obedient.
HAN YEN SHEN: Once the modern metropolis of Taipei, is now resource void and under dictatorial rule. The island has become isolated from the rest of the world due to an enormous energy shield surrounding its borders.
